Five arrested in Catoosa County drug bust
Three men and two women, all of Catoosa County, were arrested Tuesday night, Jan. 22, during a drug bust that came on the heels of a joint investigation by the Lookout Mountain Drug Task Force and the Catoosa County Sheriff's Office.
According to a news release issued Wednesday morning by Catoosa County Sheriff Gary Sisk, a search warrant was obtained and executed at 331 S. Center St. in Rossville where five offenders were arrested, and two children living at the residence were taken into the state's custody by the Department of Family and Children’s Services (DFACS).
Michael Robert Burrows, 22, Veronica Garcia, 27, Mary Angelia Groce, 26, Tommy Christopher Brannon, 25, all of Rossville, and Colby Jared Youngblood, 19, of Ringgold, were arrested Tuesday, Jan. 22, and charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of amphetamine, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, and possession of marijuana less than one-ounce.
All were booked in the Catoosa County jail between 5:15 p.m. and 6:40 p.m. on Jan. 22.
