Funeral is Friday for two young brothers who died in wreck in LaFayette

Here is the funeral notice for the Blake Elisha Hunt and Brandon Lane Hunt, the two brothers who died from injuries sustained in an automobile accident Monday, Feb. 18.

Blake Elisha Hunt, 5, of LaFayette, Ga., passed away Saturday evening, Feb. 18, 2017, in Walker County, Ga., following an automobile accident. His older brother, Brandon Lane Hunt, 10, passed away Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, at T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital in Chattanooga, Tenn.

Blake was a kindergartner and Brandon was in the fourth grade at Naomi Elementary School in LaFayette. These boys loved hunting and fishing, farm tractors, fire trucks and dooley trucks. Blake was a sweet child and had a beautiful smile. Brandon had a smile that would light up the world. They were very loving children.

Survivors include: mother, Melissa Hunt, of LaFayette, Ga.; father, Andy Elisha Hunt, of Tellico Plains, Tenn.; sisters, Haily Adams, Kylee Hunt; brother, Austin Hunt, all of LaFayette, Ga.; grandparents, Allen and Kay Howard, Margaret Hunt; their "grammy", Dorothy Rowles, of Rome, Ga.; aunts and uncles, Daniel and Heather Howard, Jesse and Sara Howard, Trevor and Carla Hunt, all of Tellico Plains; Georgina Hunt, of Southport, N.C.; several great aunts and great uncles; several cousins; special friends, Robert Moore, of Sublinga, Ga., Wesley Holland, of LaFayette, Ga., Melissa Medina, of Madisonville, Tenn;

Preceded in death by grandfather, George Hunt; great-grandparents, L.T. and Esta Mae Walker, Dutch and Isbella Howard; Elisha and Lula Hunt; their mother’s fiancée, Christopher (Butch) Rowles.
