Hutcheson hospital hires group to take over ER
Hutcheson Medical Center in Fort Oglethorpe will be moving forward with its strategic plan by partnering with a new provider for emergency physician services, ApolloMD, the hospital said in a prepared statement.
ApolloMD begin providing services at 7 a.m. today, June 3.
Apollo is a leading multi-specialty, physician-led practice group based in Atlanta. ApolloMD currently operates in 17 states, including 15 emergency medicine contracts in Georgia.
In the emergency department, ApolloMD providers specialize in process and quality improvements that lead to decreased wait times and increased patient satisfaction. The physicians will work collaboratively with local medical staff members to improve patient flow and ensure access to the highest quality emergency care.
