Redesign of Catt.com

On July 1st, Ringgold Telephone Company will launch a newly redesigned Catt.com.

This bright, modern site provides a platform for the community to interact easily and to stay up to date on both local current events and those around the world.

“The newest revision of catt.com will be even more community minded”, says Johnny Werner of Ringgold Telephone Company. With a focus on social media and networking, Catt.com will achieve just that.

“Users will be encouraged to comment on local events and happenings. Webmail has been enhanced, and online back-up is available once you login to webmail,” adds Werner. “While there will be new features to catt.com, we are also trying to keep intact the basic structure of the website to minimize confusion. Also, many of the features that folks use like weather, Google search, and polls will remain a part of the new catt.com.”
Even better, the newest version will present new abilities for faster and more effective response to catt.com users.

RTC developed catt.com in 1997. Since that time, Catt.com has continued to evolve into a community portal including information from local, regional, and national news sources. During this time, Catt.com was perceived as an “online newspaper”. As broadband DSL started to replace dial-up, more bandwidth intensive graphics and content started making its way onto catt.com. Eventually, a 3rd major revision of catt.com was created which is the version we see today. The marketplace for local businesses, webmail, and other features were added to enhance the user experience.
