Ringgold posts new “way-finding” signs, eyes new website

Those who stop in to spend time in Ringgold will now have an easier time locating certain places and navigating their way around with the implementation of new “way-finding” signs sprinkled throughout town.

The new 3-foot by 5-foot signs were installed a few weeks ago and are designed to give indicators of where certain buildings are within the city for those who exit from I-75.

“The Convention and Visitor’s Bureau approved the signs a few weeks back, and we currently have a handful of them up with the possibility of more to follow,” said Daniel Shepherd, marketing and DDA coordinator for the city. “A lot of times when travelers exit from I-75 or come up Highway 41, they don’t necessarily know where things are located in the city. We’re hoping the signs can offer a little more information and attract more people to our downtown area.”
