Ringgold Rotary Fall Back 5k
The Ringgold Rotary Club will be hosting the 2012 Fall Back 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk on November 3, 2012. All proceeds will help provide support for The Ringgold Rotary Club’s initiatives throughout the community and to help rebuild a portion of the Ringgold High School’s Athletic Stadium.
Following the storms that occurred on April 27, 2011, Ringgold High School’s Athletic Stadium suffered severe damage. A portion of the race proceeds will be donated to help rebuild the scoreboard area of the stadium. This new scoreboard will consist of a seating area built with the remains of the memorial that was already in place.
The Ringgold Rotary Club would like to help RHS to reach their goal of raising the estimated $30,000 needed to complete the project.
Timing will be provided by the Carpet Capital Running Club and will be administered by timing chips.
Each runner will receive a long sleeve t-shirt, a race number, and a chance to win a door prize! Each door prize is valued at $25 or greater.
This year the race will begin at Ringgold High School.
