If you want free HD broadcast TV today such as ABC, NBC, CBS, PBS, Fox, all you have to do is put up an over the air antenna and have a TV with a digital tuner or external set-top box. Your neighborhood cable company charges you for these channels inside of a package. As much as I hate to say it, rightfully so as the cable guys have to pay "retransmission fees" to offer those to you. Well except the cable guys that own the networks. Or is it the networks that own the cable guys? Anyway!

Seven laptop computers were donated to Catoosa County school resource officers to assist prevention educations in the CHAMPS (Choosing Healthy Activities and Methods Promoting Safety) program. The local deputies teach sixth- and seventh-grade students about being safe, healthy and happy to prepare for a successful life.

Netflix has finally revealed exactly when we’ll be able to get our new Arrested Development fix: May 26, 2013 will see the debut of 15 new episodes of the Mitch Hurwitz-led series, which will go live in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Latin America, Brazil and the Nordics as of 12:01 AM Pacific Time.

But in his words and in his life he displayed the soul of a poet whose passions and interests extended far beyond the darkened theaters where he spent so much of his professional life.

Berry College is now taking applications for the Preparing Leaders for Ultimate Success (PLUS) program.
The Berry summer program is designed to instill a sense of aspiration and skills to adjust to college in rising high school seniors from diverse backgrounds. A total of 40 students will be selected for the one-week program. Seniors, who are nominated by their guidance counselor, are invited to submit an application and to interview for the program. The application deadline is April 15.

Two men and a woman were arrested in Fort Oglethorpe after the trio allegedly attempted to steal more than $1,000 worth of merchandise from the Wal-Mart on Battlefield Parkway, police say.
According to the Fort Oglethorpe Police Department:
Matthew Ryan Parlett, 23, of Ringgold, Sandra Dean Holder, 45, of Georgetown, Tenn., and Doyle Dewayne White, 24, of Soddy-Daisy, Tenn., were arrested on Saturday, March 30, for shoplifting, while Parlett garnered an additional charge of criminal trespassing.

Apple’s (AAPL) own-brand HDTV has reportedly been in the works for years now, andit will finally debut later this year according to a new report. Topeka Capital Markets analyst Brian White, who has reported accurate details about unannounced Apple products in the past, is currently meeting with supply chain sources in China and Taiwan.

Walker and Catoosa counties are joining forces for the annual Relay for Life event May 3 to benefit the American Cancer Society.
Previously the event has been held at Lakeview Fort Oglethorpe High School. But due to ongoing construction at the school, the location of the event has changed to Gilbert-Stephenson Park in Fort Oglethorpe.
The track located behind the park on the corner of Norris Street and Van Cleve Street will be illuminated for the evening activities from 7 p.m. to midnight.

Two north Georgia men were arrested just before midnight on Friday, March 29, after they admitted to racing each other down Battlefield Parkway at speeds of more than 90 miles per hour, police say.
According to the Fort Oglethorpe Police Department:
Joseph Albert Lindsey Jr., 23, of Ringgold, and Dillon Stone Williams, 18, of Rock Spring were arrested on charges of speeding and racing on the highway.
Both men have been released from jail on bond.
The men were observed speeding around 11:30 p.m., at which time officers began pursuit.
