Blogs: new form of media or new waste of time?
 Contributed By:  Editor
 Thursday, August 30 2007 @ 08:11 AM EDT
Wikipedia defines blogging as: provides commentary or news on a particular subject such as food, politics, or local news; some function as more personal online diaries. A typical blog combines text, images, and links to other blogs, web pages, and other media related to its topic. The ability for readers to leave comments in an interactive format is an important part of many blogs.

In my opinion, for every well written blog, there are about 600 that do not make any sense. I ask you, the readers of Catt.com, is blogging a great new way to distribute news and opinions or is it a waste of time?

 Contributed By:  Editor

Windows Vista has been out since the end of January. It sold over 20 million copes in its first month! At a few hundred dollars per copy, Microsoft is doing quite well with the latest version of its operating system. Company executives believe that it will easily surpass the success of Windows XP.

Have you upgraded?

What do you think about it?

Was it worth the hype?

If you haven't upgraded, why not?

Will Internet radio survive the summer?
 Contributed By:  Editor
 Friday, May 11 2007 @ 01:52 PM EDT
Do you like to listen to Internet radio shows while working around the house? What about while reading e-mail at the office?

If so, the days of this luxury 'could' be coming come to an end.

Here is an excerpt from www.savenetradio.com: 'The future of Internet radio is in immediate danger. Royalty rates for webcasters have been drastically increased by a recent ruling and are due to go into effect on July 15 (retroactive to Jan 1, 2006!). If the increased rates remain unchanged, the majority of webcasters will go bankrupt and silent on this date.'

Just recently, legislation was introduced into Congress that would prevent this increase, though. Will the vibrant world of 'Net radio survive the summer? Only time will tell.

Keep up with the latest information at www.savenetradio.com
