Most parents have asked the following question: Why does a DVD movie only cost $20, but video games can be priced as high as $60?

Forbes.com has a pretty interesting article that explains exactly why games cost so much. The money doesn't go just into the retailers or just into the developers, but it is divided up among many different groups.

Check out the full article for details.

Is it the best skin ever?

I have owned an iPod with video for a little over a year at this point. I had been using a hard shell case from Agent18.com, but it had become worn out since I pretty much take my iPod with me everywhere.

I recently decided to start shopping for a new case. I found this website from an Apple website I visit often and they gave it great reviews. The case was very inexpensive, so I figured I might as well try it.

The instructions were pretty easy to follow. The basic steps involve soaking the protective film in soapy water and then applying it to the iPod (the company makes cases for many other devices as well). I also let it sit overnight per the instructions. I have had the case on for about a week at this point and I give it an A+. It is very durable, but it does not change the look of the iPod at all! It feels and looks like there is no case on it, but it is completely protected. I highly recommend it!

According to research company Nielsen Soundscan, album sales for CD and digital downloads have fallen 4.9% in the past year.
