I don't think it should be banned but people should use common sense. Next thing you know they will ban radios and cd plays because people might fear people will listen to their music to loud and not hear a rude driver honking their damn horn at them. If you think making it a law is going to stop it, then think again. Maybe what should be done is letting people learn from their mistake. If they text and a accident happens they they learn from it but making it against the law is just another money grabbing way the police dept and counties will get more money from you. I am not persuaded by any argument that suggests that stupid people should be allowed to do stupid things that kill other people.
