Georgia voters no longer need a reason to vote prior to election day. Voting by mail or in-person early/advance voting now begins 21 days prior to an election.
That means every registered voter, beginning Tuesday, Oct. 15, can cast a ballot in the countywide SPLOST referendum vote and in municipal elections set for Nov. 5.
Those living in LaFayette can early vote in Room 110 at the county courthouse on weekdays now through Nov. 1. On election day, Tuesday, Nov. 5, voting will take place at the LaFayette Senior Center on South Main Street.
