Pennies for Prom helps Catoosa County Students

pennies for prom

Two years ago--3 weeks before prom--Shay Love got a call from the schools asking her help for some local kids who couldn’t afford to attend prom. After seeing this major need in the community, she decided to make it an annual fundraiser. She is partnering with the PLC in Fort Oglethorpe to help get a list of students in need. Along with Shay’s work and donations—monetary and dresses--from the community, Southern Charm is helping with Tuxedo rentals for the boys.
